Project Description

Safe Driving VR was a serious game prototype designed to let players experience the possible consequences of not paying full attention when driving a car in an impactful way and shape their future behavior when driving in traffic based on that experience.

Tasks

  • Game Design:

    • Creating the concept

    • Writing & Upkeep of Game Design Document

    • Implementing and timing obstacles in Unity

  • Level Design:

  • Performance optimization:

    • Combining meshes to reduce draw calls

    • Using profiler to determine shortcomings

    • Tweaking Post-Processing to maximize visuals/performance

    • Adding Occlusion Culling
